Join Our Dynamic Team as a Project Engineer at GEA! Are you ready to be a part of a global leader in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors? GEA is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team. The Electrical Designer supports the Project Execution team by evaluating project specifications and liaising with Electrical Engineers to create an electrical system design, especially electrical hardware, to support project requirements and ensure safe installation.
Your responsibilities and tasks :
- Communicate and lead with other engineering disciplines within the department, and ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.
- Communicate with customers to ensure successful installation of equipment on site.
- Oversee sub-contractors as required.
- Assist with product drawing and specification reviews as required.
- Determine project objectives by reviewing handover documents and specifications.
- Determine project specifications by analyzing product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
- Manage communication with customers throughout the life of the project.
- Manage communication with internal stakeholders.
- Plan and manage completion of project objectives from receipt of order to completion of commissioning.
- Create project schedules to achieve successful project timelines.
- Create procurement specifications and production demands while utilizing the company SAP system.
- Provide general technical support to customers during the life of the project.
- Support Sales and Service department with technical support, as required.
