Environmental Coordinator
The Environmental Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the implementation of environmental compliance programs, permit requirements, and corporate environmental policies.
This includes coordinating the strategic environmental goals within their assigned region, plant, and project scope. Key responsibilities encompass assisting with environmental permits, attending meetings, conducting compliance oversight, and monitoring construction sites for environmental adherence.
The role demands high responsiveness and involves tasks such as documenting findings, researching environmental events, and ensuring the implementation of environmental requirements in various projects.

Qualifications :
- Education requirements : Associate or Bachelor's degree in an environmental science or related discipline.
- Experience : Minimum of 6 years of environmental experience with an associates degree or 4 years with a bachelors degree
Work Environment :
This role requires extensive travel, estimated at 80% of work hours, with the candidate needing to live within 45 minutes of one of the primary duty locations.
Work involves overnight stays, reimbursed per policy, and varies by region and assignment. Standard work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime and weekend hours during environmental emergencies or as needed.
The candidate must also be available by phone after work hours and on weekends, though the frequency is minimal.
