Description & Requirements Join our team as a Health and Safety Sr. Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization adheres to the highest standards of occupational health and safety.

Travel required up to 5% (based on business needs). Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Implement health and safety procedures and monitor regulations within the organization.

  • Maintain compliance with Federal / State occupational safety and health regulations and guidelines. - Evaluate and maintain the safety and efficiency of the company's processes to minimize risks and hazards that may occur in the workplace.
  • Develop and implement safety training and programs to reiterate safety guidelines, PPE and regulations within the premises.
  • Track the number of workers compensation claims and produce reports. - I mplement safety and loss control tools to prevent workers compensation claims from occurring.
  • Manage and monitor the workers compensation claims third party administrator (TPA) for proper claims handling. - Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
  • Track OSHA standards / regulations / compliance and assist with any issues related to OSHA. - Some travel maybe required.

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in related field required. - 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in safety, workers compensation claims and OSHA Compliance.

Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
