Summary :
BMC is currently seeking an experienced Network Manager to join our IT team. This position works full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday Friday, under the supervision of the IT Director.

Job Responsibilities :
Evaluate all aspects of network and system performance for reliability. Design and architect solutions to ensure stability, security, and efficiency throughout the IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with vendors as needed to maintain efficient and robust network technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills on network and application performance. Decide on the necessary interventions and proactive measures to ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage and maintain current VMWare vSphere Infrastructure. Proactively identify and perform hardware and software upgrades.
- Responsible for helping IT Operations staff to develop skills and knowledge transfer within the department.
- Manage and maintain the Veeam environment. Mentor and manage the IT Operations staff in all backup operations and technologies.
- Manage, maintain, and resolve issues with storage systems.
- Manage, maintain, and resolve issues in our Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Design, develop, maintain organization’s email network and system(s).
- Performs on-call rotations every 10 weeks based on the needs of the medical center.
- Handles all supervisory functions including staff development, reviews, strategy planning, and operations.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, self-manage and engage forward thinking.
- Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts and draws valid conclusions when problem solving, especially around networking.
- Ability to work independently and work well within ever changing priorities and situations.
- Possesses advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft operating systems, back-office solutions and tools.
- Demonstrated systems background required.
- Experience with various technologies, including but not limited to; Active Directory / Group Policy, VMWare, Citrix / RDS, Veeam, and SAN storage.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities.
- Must have a good sense of humor! We work hard, but like to have fun doing it!
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and / or education.
Previous Experience :
- Must have 4+ years’ experience analyzing, planning and supporting systems in a large, networked environment.
- IT experience in a healthcare setting, highly desired.
Salary Range :
$102,584 - $153,877 annually based on experience and education.
This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
