Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL as a plus). Certifications in small engine or diesel repair, ASE, or related trades. Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus. Familiarity with construction equipment telematics or maintenance tracking software. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physical tasks in shop and outdoor environments. Paragon Land Pros is a successful commercial land services firm specializing in both private and public land services projects. Paragon has partnered with Reef as we currently work on a wide variety of projects, including Black Desert Resort in Ivins, UT and Marcella, near Park City, UT.
Job Summary
The team at Paragon Land Pros is looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support our landscaping and hardscaping operations by maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with small engines, light construction equipment, trailers, trucks, and specialized tools used in landscape and hardscape construction.
Responsibilities include :
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on landscaping and hardscaping equipment including :
- Plate compactors, skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers
- Trucks and trailers (light and medium duty)
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and fuel system issues.
- Maintain organized service records and ensure equipment downtime is minimized.
- Coordinate parts ordering and manage shop inventory.
- Fabricate or weld parts as needed for equipment modification or repair.
- Keep shop area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Occasionally assist with equipment delivery or in-field repairs on job sites.
- Communicate repair status and equipment needs with supervisors and field crews.
