Associate Lecturer - (PT) Department of Graduate Education, M.Ed. Program
The Department of Graduate Education at Curry College invites applications for part-time faculty to teach one or more of the following graduate course sections in the Spring of 2025 :
- MED 6930 : Effective Collaboration with all Stakeholders
- MED 6940 : Developing Transition Systems and Supports
- MED 6945 : Practicum and Field-Based Experience
Classes are online and scheduled for Tuesday evenings.
Other teaching opportunities may arise, but are not guaranteed. The review of applications will begin on October 1, 2024.
Job Requirements :
Minimum Qualifications :
- A master's degree is required. Either bachelor's or master's degree must be in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Candidates must have experience working with students with learning differences and supporting transitions within public schools and / or community organizations.
- Candidates must have PreK-12 experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Ed.D. or Ph.D. by time of employment.
- Transition Specialist Endorsement in the state of Massachusetts.
- Teaching experience in higher education, experience working with diverse disciplines, ability to use assistive technology in educational settings, and strong curriculum development and assessment skills.
