Structural Engineer

Our client, a leading Industrial Engineering firm in St. Louis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be part of the structural department supporting the Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent modeling and analysis skills, and will ideally have a background in the Oil & Gas industry, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Structural Engineer III

Location : St. Louis, MO

Pay Range : $95k-$125k

What’s the Job?

Develop and analyze Modular and Stick-Build industrial structures for Manufacturing, Process and Renewable Natural Gas facilities.

Structures to include but not be limited to equipment skids, pipe / process modules, and multi-level modular process towers.

• Perform modeling and analysis of structures using software such as STAAD Pro.
• Perform structural analysis on both steel and concrete structural systems.
• Engineer / Analyze equipment foundations for static and dynamic loads on projects where included in scope.
• Design and / or analyze structural systems for local seismic requirements where applicable. Research seismic requirements for specific location.

Provide estimates of cost impact based on specific seismic requirements.

What’s Needed?

• 7+ Years Experience in Structural Analysis
• Bachelors Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Proficiency with either STAAD, RAM or RISA structural analysis software required.
• Basic AutoCAD proficiency is preferred
