We are seeking a Med Surg / Telemetry Nurse for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.

As a Registered Nurse on the med surg tele unit, you will be joining a team of professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our patients.

You will enable patients to reach their goals through care specifically designed to cater to individual patient needs, and also administered by some of the most highly skilled and trained providers in the Rocky Mountain region.

What you will do in this role :

• You will provide age appropriate excellent care to your patients based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the patient.
• You will be performing duties within the scope of your practice and function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at our hospitals.
• You will work in inpatient acute setting.

Take advantage of being part of a new unit! All 21 beds are equipped with in-ceiling virtual monitoring so that all patients can be monitored virtually by our virtual care center.

The rooms are also equipped to take patients that require continuous EEG monitoring which is something that is currently only available in the ICU.

All rooms will have a patient dedicated Ipad outside the room to quickly identify patient specific information (code status, allergies, diet, etc.

when entering the room to better respond to patient needs when they put on their call light. In addition, the TVs in the patient rooms are all smart TVs and connect to our charting and function as a real time, up to date electronic white board.

The unit overall is completely renovated with all new equipment, furniture, fixtures , and IT.

Requirements :

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current ACLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• One year experience in acute care
