The Role

The Sr Lead Engineer (Capacity Planner) will be required to develop and / or improvise tools as well as maintain a Capacity Planning and Modeling System (CPMS) incorporating the ingest of multi-source network installation and operational information. The CPMS will be utilized by the Capacity Planner, an engineering team, and program / network management to track current build-outs, forecast traffic usage, identify current and future bottlenecks, develop strategic architecture (encompassing Layers1-3), develop recovery models, and provide timely reports and status to internal and external stakeholders. This person will need to be able to develop impact analysis before recommending any congestion relief activities.

The Main Responsibilities

This position requires very strong customer service skills, clear and concise communication capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple and diverse technology issues to resolution, with minimal supervision. A self-motivator, this position requires someone to be resourceful in identifying issues and being able to escalate appropriately. The Capacity Planner will support the following :

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$142,603 - $190,137 in these states : VA
