Job Title : Quality Systems Engineering Manager

Job Description :

This position will require engagement across departments, ADI manufacturing sites, leading cross-functional audit teams, Quality Systems deployment and standardizing BKMs across ADI sites globally.

Key Responsibilities include :

  • Lead and / or collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure expedite closure of complex product and process quality issues from initiation to closure.
  • Standardize and Implement Quality Management Systems across ADI sites. Shares BKMs and procedures with ADI manufacturing sites.
  • Act as a technical expert to lead IATF16949, ISO9001, VDA QMS audits. Implement procedures and best practices per industry QMS standards.
  • Lead ADI’s internal audit plan. Develop and train lead auditors per industry QMS standards.
  • Act as a single point of contact with IATF external registrars to co-ordinate audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed audit plans, set expectations, and develop systems and procedures per IATF16949 and VDA automotive quality standards.
  • Facilitate the use of structured problem-solving tools in root-cause investigation and corrective action identification.
  • Manage corporate level QMS systems to manage customer requirements, management reviews, corrective action plans, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry in the functional areas like Quality Management Systems and audits.
  • Excellent knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001 and VDA standards.
  • Must be a certified lead quality auditor for IATF16949 standard.
  • Must have experience managing IATF16949 audits at the corporate level.
  • Great collaborator that leads through influence
  • Excellent project planning, scheduling, documentation, training, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) in high volume semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Quality certifications like ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE, etc. will be preferred.
