JOB REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a Lead Dock and Lift Service Technician to repair and maintain Lancaster Custom Docks and Lifts as well as other third-party boat lifts and personal watercraft lifts, controllers, and cabling systems.
This hands-on position assists the team in developing processes and training team members as the service business scales up.
Applicants with a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades related to boating and docks is preferred, including carpentry, mechanical skills, familiarity with varying types of metals, and electrical and lighting methods are a plus.
You must also demonstrate excellent customer service skills and solid communication abilities in the bounds of diverse languages while interacting positively with a wide variety of clients, fellow employees, management, and office personnel.
Specific qualifications for the role include :
- Previous management / team lead experience is required
- Successful prior track record in the trades or marine construction or related fields
- Knowledge of boating, docks, knots, and lifts is a plus.
- Own a standard set of tools to perform mechanical trades
- Own a truck or van
- Current and valid drivers license and clean criminal record
- Resides within our service area, including Mooresville, Denver, Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville the Lake Norman region.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills while using mobile applications
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check
- Knowledge of Jobber and WhatsApp is preferred but not required.
