Job Description :

This position maintains several OPWDD Java web applications including Division of Quality Improvement (DQIA) and SEMP applications.

In addition all new work involves design development testing and implementation of an application throughout the System Development Life Cycle.

The position also supports enterprise projects as needed and provides training and mentoring to lesser experienced developers.

DaytoDay tasks :

• Design and create scripts for databases
• Design develop maintain and enhance Java applications
• Test applications
• Create and maintain documentation
• Assist with implementation and ITSM incidents.

Qualifications :

• Software Developer Is involved with all facets of the software development process including the research design programming testing and implementation of computer software.
• Expert 7 years : Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and / or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his / her field.
• 7 years experience programming serverside Java web applications in a multitier environment using JDK 1.5 or higher.
• 5 years experience writing queries stored procedures functions packages and triggers in Oracle 10g or higher.
• 4 years development experience in database design and object creation / modification of databases consisting of 20 or more tables in Oracle 10g or higher.
• 4 years programming experience with Java Server Faces.
• 3 years programming experience with Java Persistence API.
• 3 years experience with JavaScript / JQuery.

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Communications, or a related field. Minimum 1 years of experience in content management and front-end development.
