Job Description : Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based position in Elgin, Texas.
This contract role involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students throughout the 2024 / 2025 school year.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders (SLP).
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for students (SLPA).
- Provide direct therapy services and support to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes.
Requirements :
- For SLP : Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- For SLPA : Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred (SLP).
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
State-Specific Requirements :
- Must hold or be eligible for Texas state licensure as an SLP or SLPA.
- Adherence to all Texas state requirements for school-based SLPs and SLPAs, including necessary background checks and certifications.
