Job Overview Job Description : About the Job : The Lead System Engineer will lead development efforts for multiple Big Data projects.

As the lead, he / she will guide team members with requirements for various analytical use cases and scenarios, collaborate and drive better business solutions through insights from a combination of various AT&T data assets along with external 3rd part data assets.

Review and identify internal ETL processes / jobs that can be enhanced through automation. This role is also accountable for developing the necessary enablers and data platform in the Big Data Lake Environment and has the responsibility of maintaining its integrity during the life cycle phases.

What You'll DoDesign, build, and present cloud based solutions including on-prem to cloud data transformation solutions to address customer needs.

This will be tailored to projects related to the Telecommunications industry with specific functional components like : Billing, sales, finance, network, inventory, customer profiling, marketing, etc.

Need Hyperscale SQL Server technical expertise on understanding business challenges and architecting complex solutions powered using Azure Hyperscale SQL Server to address them.

Leverage Azure Hyperscale SQL Server knowledge to do performance tuning to have applications running at optimal levels to meet SLAs.

Should have Snowflake knowledge to Leverage Snowflake's Data Cloud and the latest advancements in data migration and customized solutions to build POCs and prototypes that demonstrate value to clients.

Learn and leverage the latest Snowflake public release features in our CDO Snowflake Team to collaborate on creating leading edge demos, PoC's, and advanced industry solutions.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in data platform technologies and all the rapidly evolving Data, and snowflake Native Apps capabilities, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into CDO customer solutions.

Develop technical presentations and conduct workshops and hackathons to share expertise on Data engineering best practices.

Work closely with User Migration team, solution architects, and data managers to drive technical solutioning and develop complex Snowflake powered data solutions into business impact.

What You'll Bring3-5+ years of Azure Hyperscale SQL Server development and performance tuning experience.3+ years of Snowflake development experience in Data Engineering and architecting, building, and demonstrating data solutions.

Experience in the telecommunications industry related to reporting and data integration.Experience integrating Hyperscale SQL Server and Snowflake solutions with the major cloud platforms and leveraging their pre-built capabilities.

Expertise in building robust data engineering frameworks, Azure cloud, python / JAVA / Scala, and Data bricks (Apache Spark).

Knowledge of Hyperscale SQL Server and Snowflake Data engineering best practices around data modelling, evaluation, deployment, and governance.

Experience collaborating with Data engineers, Architects, and operation engineers. Ability to identify and articulate the business value of data powered technologies to stakeholders.

Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to influence leadership with business decision-makers. Passion for data and ability to stay updated on latest advancements through conferences, publications, cohorts etc.

Required / Desired SkillsRequire 3-5+ years of Azure Hyperscale SQL Server architecting / development experience.Require 3-5+ years of Snowflake architecting / development experience.
