- A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced L&D RN for a travel contract.
- The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and WA License.
- Pending license needed to submit.
- Temp license takes approximately 4 weeks.
Job Requirements
- 2 full years of experience as an L&D RN
- Hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and WA License
- High Risk OB / Triage / OR circulating, surgical admission and recovery experience
- Experience with Common titratable & / or set rate drips such as Pitocin and Insulin
- Ability to titrate drips
Schedule Information
- 12 hour shifts (7a-7 : 30p)

Unit Specific Information
- Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Pre-eclampsia, gestational and insulin dependent diabetes, high BMI, multiples, pre term labor, AMA, substance abuse disorders
- RN required skills : High Risk OB / Triage / OR circulating, surgical admission and recovery
- Are RNs required to titrate drips : yes
- Charge Nurse / House Supervisor presence : Charge nurse
- Nurse aids / surgical techs on the unit : CNAs and Surgical techs
- OB / Neonatologist in house 24 / 7 : OBHG in house 24 / 7, Neo or NICU Adv. practice provider available 24 / 7
- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) for NICU : Yes
- EFM System : Centricity Perinatal
- Dress code : Hospital Scrubs
- Unit / Department specific orientation provided : Yes
