Rate- $85 / hr SHIFT- Evenings- 4x10 hr shifts- 0 - On-call : 4-6 calls within 6-week schedule (30-min response required) - Weekends : 4-6 weekend shifts within 6-week schedule (could be scheduled day, evening, or night shift hours)Holidays per department need PLEASE ENSURE CANDIDATES MEET ALL OF THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO SUBMITTING *REQUIRED- *Looking for Multi-specialty OR experience, especially in ORTHO & ROBOTICS *Level 1 Trauma experience required *Previous traveler experience required *Minimum 2 years OR experience required *BLS required *Will care for Covid patients *Could float as needed *Epic experience preferred but not required RN Checklist *Do not submit local candidates to these travel positions.

Any traveler declining the COVID-19 vaccine, must be approved for a medical / religious exemption by their agency The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room.

As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT’s and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
