Role Description :

The Product Manager manages the design, development, and testing of new product features for the company’s suite of automotive software products.

Meet directly with customers to understand business requirements, user needs, and pain points with existing technology products.

Work with technology stakeholders, senior management, and company engineers to develop innovative and profitable solutions to consumer problems, including enhancements, extensions, and modifications to product features.

Prepare project plans and technical project documents to ensure project deliverable schedules are met and that the software engineering team conforms to architecture plans.

Design preliminary wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for new product features. Review Proofs of Concepts during the design and mapping phase to ensure business priorities are achieved.

Design prototypes and user interfaces and track and analyze user engagements, adoption, and satisfaction with new features.

Work with company engineers to implement user tracking and analytics events into company products and integrate analytics into company’s internal database.

Perform user acceptance testing to ensure features deliver business value and work with customers to understand and improve user experience with company products.

Meet with customers and technology stakeholders to gauge satisfaction with new features. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and trends in the IT industry.

Requirements :

The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related engineering position.

This requirement may be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related engineering position.

This position requires skills and knowledge in MS Office, MATLAB, JIRA and Confluence. The position requires little travel - 24% of the work time, several days but less than 60 days per year throughout continental U.S.

Commitment : 40 hours / week.
