Duties & Responsibilities :
Oversee the entire operation through the combined efforts of the Chef and be
responsible in the absence of the General Manager
- Have a positive attitude
- Control all cost areas such as food, bar, and labor and controlled expenses with the
annual plan figures
- To maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas of the Restaurant
- Interview, hire and train exceptionally qualified individuals who will improve and
maintain the high level of services we provide
- Enforce all Waterfront Enterprises, Inc. Company Policies and Procedures
- Be involved in evaluating all employee’s, in written form, every six months
- Be involved in a food or bar inventory every period to insure its accuracy and
completeness
- Oversee the maintenance and care of all restaurant equipment
- Increase sales by consistent product and service in a clean and organized environment
- Be a part of the team, help wherever needed
- Evaluate and post all invoices in a timely manner
- Be responsible for all monetary transactions throughout your shift
- Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and / or service
- Continue to evaluate and train all service employees each and every day
- Make sure each guest leaves with a positive experience

The Oceanside Broiler is the newest Waterfront dining restaurant on Oceanside Harbor.
The Broiler offers fresh seafood and steaks along with tropical cocktails, local beers on tap and California wines.
Serving Lunch and Dinner daily with two outside dining areas.
The front patio is only steps from the water, is quiet and allows well behaving dogs.
The newly remodeled Lanai has an outside bar, with plenty of waterfront table views. It is now covered and heated to minimize the weather conditions, and can be booked for private parties.
Inside the Broiler the design is contemporary and clean with a new huge fish tank in the raised dining room.
The banquet room is available for private events with up to 75 guests and no room charges.
The Bar has great views of the harbor and offers the "longest happy hour in town" with $5 / $6 / $7 / $8 / $9 Food and Bar every day.
The exposed kitchen is designed to showcase our chefs at work preparing the best fresh seafood and steaks available.
