Assistant Nurse Manager - ICU

Description

Under the direction of the Unit Manager, supervises the day to day activities of the Unit; Serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients and their families to facilitate safe and effective flow of patient care in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center;

and assists in providing direction and supervision of nursing and support staff, as well as perform related duties as assigned.

Required qualifications :

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher, or in progress. If Bachelor's in Nursing or higher is in progress, must be completed within 3 years from date of hire.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 2 years of recent nursing experience.

Preferred qualifications :

• Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• 2 years of recent nursing experience in related clinical setting.
• Healthcare leadership and / or supervisory experience.
