Job Description :

We are currently hiring for a versatile and compassionate Floater NA / CNA position at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu.

As a Floater Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and vital support for our senior clients.

This position requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to be available whenever assigned.

Responsibilities :

• Assist clients in their personal care needs, ensuring utmost comfort and preserving their dignity.
• Properly manage and provide support for clients' medication requirements.
• Closely monitor clients' health status and promptly report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of all provided care and document any observations or concerns.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and active listening to clients, promoting their overall well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and running errands.
• Create and maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Effectively and professionally communicate with clients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Be flexible and available to work at varying assigned times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be willing to drive to different locations as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Perform a wide range of tasks tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
• Quickly adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities to provide the best possible care.

Requirements :

• Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Hawaii.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining a full-time schedule.
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
• Have the ability to multitask and efficiently prioritize tasks.
• Successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Possess a strong work ethic and exhibit dependability.
• Be capable of adapting to various tasks and environments.
• Have outstanding communication skills.
