What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)? We’re looking for a system administrator who specializes in developing and executing broader IT strategies, while also providing onsite and hands-on IT support across a variety of disciplines, to streamline and modernize our customer's IT capabilities.

As a system administrator on our project, you’ll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure and subsequent processes better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies.

You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network.

You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning.

This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like information, cyber security, and cloud technology. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies.

As a system administrator leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network, so your clients achieve their goals.

You Have :

  • Experience developing and implementing IT strategies within the IC
  • Experience operating with an IC client-issued Admin IT Account
  • Experience creating, escalating, and resolving IT help desk tickets using a ticketing application
  • Knowledge of IC information technology and security processes
  • Knowledge of Splunk auditing
  • Knowledge of Nessus, SCAP, and MBSA scanning tools
  • Knowledge of Telos tools, such as Xacta and Continuum
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build and manage customer relationships, and provide Tier 1 customer support
  • TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have :

  • Experience collaborating with Government staff, other contractors, and external IT partners to deliver innovative and effective IT solutions to business and mission challenges
  • Experience with IC information technology, such as Linux and Windows and security processes, including configuration management, continuous monitoring, and assessment and authorization
  • Experience managing cloud services, such as Amazon
  • Experience creating and documenting IT standard operating procedures

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
