ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an Associate Creative Director (Copy Focus) to help shape and lead the storytelling voice of our agency's creative work. This role is designed for a seasoned Copywriter ready to step into greater leadership responsibility, while still staying hands-on with writing and concepting.

As an ACD (Copy), you'll be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, defining brand voices, and guiding teams in developing ideas that resonate culturally and strategically. You'll partner closely with ACDs (Art), Creative Directors, strategists, and account teams to deliver campaigns that are bold, insightful, and effective.

Responsibilities : Creative Leadership

  • Collaborate with Creative Directors to lead the messaging and narrative direction across multiple client accounts.
  • Guide and mentor copywriters to elevate conceptual thinking, tone, and storytelling.
  • Champion brand voice consistency while pushing for fresh, innovative approaches.

Concepting & Execution

  • Generate big campaign ideas, messaging frameworks, scripts, and taglines across integrated channels (TV, digital, social, experiential, print, OOH).
  • Write and edit high-quality copy that is clear, compelling, and strategically aligned.
  • Ensure that the written voice complements and enhances the visual storytelling.

    • Collaboration

  • Partner closely with ACDs (Art), art directors, and designers to deliver integrated, cohesive campaigns.
  • Work with strategy to translate insights into compelling messaging platforms.
  • Collaborate with production teams on scripts, voiceover direction, and final copy execution.

    • Client Partnership

  • Confidently present creative concepts and copy rationale to clients.
  • Serve as a trusted voice in shaping client messaging strategies and brand positioning.

    • Team Development

  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior and mid-level copywriters.
  • Foster a collaborative and storytelling-driven creative culture within the team.

    • ABOUT YOU

    You'll bring with you :

  • 6-9 years of copywriting and concepting experience in a creative agency setting
  • Strong portfolio showcasing integrated campaigns and writing across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional writing skills : from sharp headlines and scripts to longer-form storytelling.
  • Experience developing and maintaining brand voice across multiple platforms.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to sell ideas persuasively.
  • Experience mentoring and growing copy talent.

    • You're good at :

  • A great communicator and excellent presenter and writer
  • A great listener, able to take in information, ask the right questions and quickly suss out what's next
  • Organized and detail-oriented. A self-starting multi-tasker that can handle the pressure of several assignments at once. Resourceful and inquisitive, able to independently chart a path to tackle an assignment
  • Positive outlook and good people skills; a great team builder who team members and clients want to work with
  • Travel may be necessary

Salary is dependent on experience but ranges from : $140,000- $175,000. All candidates must have the ability to work in the US; we are unable to sponsor any work visas for this role.
