Data & Business Intelligence Analyst Role Overview :
As a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst at LinkedIn, you will work remotely (available in most locations within the country of employment).
You will leverage big data to enhance member engagement, drive business growth, and support monetization efforts. Your key responsibilities will include developing data foundations, pipelines, and visualizations for the Customer Success organization.
This is a 12-month contract role with potential for extension.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Tool and Dashboard Development : Design, develop, and maintain data tools and dashboards to automate processes and provide real-time insights into customer metrics and product usage.
- Foundations and Pipeline Development : Write scalable SQL queries and build robust data pipelines on the LinkedIn data stack.
- Data Management : Establish and oversee data collection, storage, and quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Project Management : Lead data projects from inception to completion, aligning with strategic goals and delivering measurable value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with customer success and related teams to integrate data insights into strategies and initiatives.
- Continuous Learning and Innovation : Stay current with data science and analytics trends to drive innovation and improve customer success outcomes.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline.
- 2+ years of experience with SQL / relational databases.
- 2+ years of business analytics experience in a medium-to-large company, with demonstrated ability to navigate complex data environments and provide strategic guidance.
- 2+ years of experience handling large datasets.
- 2+ years of experience with at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python, Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript).
- 2+ years of experience in data visualization and dashboard design.
Preferred Qualifications :
- MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, operations research, computer science, engineering).
- Experience with statistical modeling, including regression and tree models.
- Experience in data pipeline development.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data governance patterns.
- Previous experience on or adjacent to a Business Intelligence team.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while seeking guidance as needed.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to various audiences.

Compensation :
Up to $58.05 / hr based on location(W2 / Non Exempt)
