Overview
Kelemen North and South 9 is a two-sided, seventy-six bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psych.
The ratio of patients to nurse is six to one, and we staff at least three critical care technicians (CCTs) on North and South side for patient care support.
Also to support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care, through put, and assignments.
Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.
Short Description
The Clinical Educator II is a nursing professional who is responsible for a variety of training and developmental duties in healthcare.
The Clinical Educator II possesses master-level competencies to ensure nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel have the skills and training to succeed in their individualized units or specialty.
Experience Required
At least 3 years nursing clinical practice in direct patient care required.
Education Requirements
Masters Required; Masters in Nursing preferred
License / Certification Requirements
- NJ RN license
- AHA BLS
Special Requirements
- Speciality certification preferred
- ACLS preferred
