Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator (mid-level experience) to provide procurement and product catalog management functions for East View Map Link (EVML).

Duties of the Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator include product (maps and atlases) sourcing and selection, cultivating and maintaining vendor relations, and product management.

This job is onsite at a warehouse located in Maple Plain, MN (20 minutes west of Minneapolis, MN).

The ideal candidate should have ERP (specifically NetSuite) experience, excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, and strong attention to detail.

Ultimately, a successful Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator will be a vendor relationship builder, be comfortable working in a fast-paced large volume environment and know how to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities :

• Source and select product Maintain and create vendor relationships Manage product catalog – includes creation of new product records and maintenance of existing product Create and submit purchase orders required to procure all EVML inventory Resolve discrepancies in inventory and handle credit requests from vendors Requirements : Must have : Associate’s degree in Purchasing, or equivalent Two (2) years of experience in Purchasing and Inventory Nice-to-have : Familiarity with ERP software (specifically NetSuite) Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Outlook, in particular) Expereince working in a small or one person Purchasing department Benefits include :   Free snacks and beverages Medical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance / 100% Employer-paid Disability Insurance / 401k with company match / PTO and Paid Holidays Pay : $45,000 - $55,000   Powered by JazzHR
