The Opportunity
As a Software Engineer at Inscribe, you’ll apply your technical knowledge to solve real customer problems. You’ll join our Collect Team and work closely with product managers, designers, machine learning experts, and other engineers.
You’ll build new features for both our customer-facing web application(s) and our API.
Responsibilities
- Build new Collect features exposed through our API and web app
- Collaborate with the Collect product team
- Write well-designed, documented, and testable code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Deploy features and updates to production
- Listen to the needs of our industry-leading fintech customers
- Integrate customer feedback into implementations
- Suggest and plan features
- Tackle security implications during the design and implementation
About You
- Have a strong sense of product design and customer empathy
- Have 4+ years experience as a Software Engineer
- Value a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Are thoughtful about code quality and software architecture
- Are familiar with Python and Django or similar programming languages and frameworks
- Are familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript MVC frameworks (such as VueJS)
- Have experience across the testing pyramid
Nice to Have
- Are familiar with Machine Learning and how to expose it as a product
- Have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant field
