Hazmat Endorsement. Over the Road Routes
- We run flatbeds with conestogas / curtainside trailers.
- Pre & Post Trip - Inspecting vehicles to ensure they are properly equipped with warning lights, flags, and labels indicating hazardous materials are being carried
- Following all laws regarding traffic rules, speed limits, and safe driving practices when transporting hazardous materials
- Reporting any unsafe conditions of the transportation vehicle to the appropriate supervisor
- Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and filed in accordance with federal regulations
- Following standard operating procedures for loading and unloading hazardous materials safely and efficiently
- Ensuring that all safety equipment is functioning properly before transporting hazardous materials
- Maintaining detailed records of all shipments of hazardous materials
- Reporting any incidents involving hazardous materials to supervisors or authorities as required by law
- Ensuring that the vehicle is in good working order before each trip by performing inspections on the engine, tires, lights, brakes, etc.
- HOS and all HM Regulations adhered to at all times
- Additional responsibilities from time to time as typical with flatbed freight (i.e. tarping, loading assistance, re-verifying securement during transit, etc) Job Requirements :

- Hazmat Endorsement
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Minimum 25 years old
