Project Engineer
Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team, specializing in the development of inline analyzers for the measurement of hydrocarbon levels in water and leading technical projects within the Oil and Gas industry.
This role requires a blend of project leadership, technical expertise, and field experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical measurement techniques, as well as the ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Management
- Lead projects focused on the development and implementation of inline analyzers, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments to meet changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and field service, to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
Technical Expertise
- Design and develop inline analyzers for the measurement of hydrocarbon concentrations in water at PPM levels.
- Conduct field testing and validation of equipment performance.
- Apply principles of chemistry, fluid mechanics, and optical methods such as fluorescent emission, near-infrared absorption, and scatter techniques.
- Work with laser and optical instrumentation in the design and analysis phases.
- Utilize advanced measurement and instrumentation techniques to enhance product performance.
Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients.
- Prepare and present technical documentation and reports in English, ensuring clarity and precision.
Qualifications :
- MS degree in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with major knowledge in Optical Measurement and Instrumentation.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of chemistry, fluid mechanics, and optical methods.
- Proven project management experience, including leading technical projects.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
