Job Summary :
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a key role in growing our business by identifying and qualifying potential customers.
You will be the first point of contact for prospects and will be responsible for creating a positive first impression. Your primary goal will be to generate qualified leads and set up meetings for our sales team.
This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prospect and Research : Identify potential customers through research, social media, and industry resources.
- Outbound Outreach : Make cold calls, send emails, and utilize social media to engage prospects and generate interest in our products / services.
- Set Appointments : Schedule meetings or product demos with qualified leads for the sales team to further engage.
- Maintain CRM : Update and maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Collaborate with Sales Team : Work closely with sales executives to understand target markets, ideal customer profiles, and refine outreach strategies.
- Follow-up : Conduct follow-ups on leads that are not yet ready to engage, ensuring continuous engagement.
- Achieve Targets : Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualified meetings.
- Cross department Collaboration
Qualifications :
- Experience : 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (B2B sales experience is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage prospects effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle rejection and persist in achieving goals.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the sales profession.
