Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology : Obtained from an accredited program, fulfilling Illinoiss educational requirements.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) : Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Illinois State Licensure : Must hold current Illinois licensure or be eligible for licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) : With an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology, required to work in Illinois schools.
- Experience : Two (2) years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills : Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.
