How you'll make an impact :

As a key member of the SiriusXM Media finance team, you'll support the SiriusXM Media AdsWizz business as a finance liaison responsible for forecasting the advertising revenue and cost of revenue.

This role will support the Finance Director.

What you'll do :

  • Own the FP&A function for the Global AdsWizz Business, this includes five distinct business units operating across the Americas, Europe, and New Markets. This includes :
  • Generate comprehensive reports on financial performance
  • Develop forecasts, including a five-year financial plan
  • Prepare data for business reviews (quarterly, bi-annual, annual, and ad hoc) and presentations to senior leadership to executive level management
  • Respond to ad-hoc financial requests
  • Perform ad hoc analyses that drive strategic business decisions. Analyze data and financial and business metrics used by the company and senior management
  • Play a large role in modeling and tracking performance for various contract structures
  • Succinctly verbalize forecasts and budgets to the appropriate stakeholders, including preparing review materials. Be able to explain variances within versions and the impact of your changes to the Finance consolidation team and VP / SVP
  • Investigate variances between actuals and forecasts to understand trends and potential risks and opportunities
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with multiple departments to understand the effect of the advertising business on company initiatives that inform our forecasts and budgets
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline deliverables

What you'll need :

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in financial planning or finance-related roles
  • Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Thorough accounting knowledge including an understanding of financial statements
  • Knowledge of financial planning
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong financial analysis and quantitative skills; high attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Comfortable working with and articulating financial concepts to managers and senior executives
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High standard for integrity required for exposure to confidential company performance data and legal contracts
  • Power user of Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient with Google Sheets and Google Slides. Familiarity with business intelligence and financial planning applications is a plus (e.g., Anaplan, Tableau)
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong proficiency in financial modeling, and familiarity with accounting concepts
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience.

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $99,200 to $120,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
