Material Handler-1

Essential Job Functions

• Safely transports finished goods from manufacturing to the shipping area
• Securely loads the machines on to pallets
• Verifies and accurately records data for machines before wrapping (build sheets, QA documents, etc.)
• Wraps and packages machines for shipping (including but not limited to : blocking and bracing machine on pallet, applying layers of bubble wrap, securing machine glass with foam packs, applying shrink wrap by hand or using shrink wrap machine, banding machine to pallet using a metal bander, applying corrugated sleeve, building crates, and adding the proper decals and labels)
• Follows all loading, unloading, and proper lifting procedures according to training and SOP guidelines
• Inspects material handling equipment, racking, dock doors, and pallets weekly, at a minimum
• Maintains accurate records of all packaging material for inventory
