CT Technologist
Job Description :
Currently looking for a CT Tech to fill an opening located around the Columbus, Ohio area. Interested candidates should have an ARRT registry and Ohio State Licensure or be eligible.
The shift is 7 am-7 pm, with availability on weekends.
This location is commutable to Columbus, OH!
Shift is 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm, with availability on weekends.

Requirements of the CT Technologist :
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration is required. CT registry (ARRT) preferred.
- Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment is required.
Responsibilities of the CT Technologist :
Performs routine and emergent CT procedures by correctly using imaging equipment, related accessories, and contrast agents.
Upholds radiation safety standards and department protocol.
Prepares patient and exam room for imaging procedure. Helps patient with appropriate dress. Provides a comfortable, friendly, secure atmosphere for all patients.
Provides patient and family education related to imaging procedures.
Maintains manual and computerized patient, department, and hospital records. Performs associated data entry and clerical tasks as needed.
Responsible for ordering and stocking department supplies.
Performs and documents equipment quality control according to department protocol. Performs routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
Recognizes and reports any malfunction to the appropriate person or department.
Provides backup coverage for general Radiology procedures. Available to take calls outside of normal working hours.
