They are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team.
Description
- Assist the Project Manager in all phases of the construction process, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other team members.
- Help manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
- Conduct site visits to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate with clients and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Support the Project Manager in problem-solving and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the closeout process, ensuring all project deliverables are completed and client expectations are met.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in commercial construction.
- Familiarity with self-storage construction projects is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- A proactive and team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
