Transportation Project Manager
Location

Responsibilities Include
Plan production oversight, including working with and managing Project Engineers and Design Technicians in the design of a variety of transportation projects (State Highways, City Streets, County, and Tribal roadways)
Primary design components include roadway geometrics, typical sections, cross sections, erosion control, drainage design record / map, traffic control, and signing and striping
Perform tasks associated with producing a complete set of construction documents, including drafting, quantity computations, specifications, and cost estimates
Project and task scheduling for the design team
Client interaction
Quality review
Additional Duties May Include
Attending meetings with clients
Assisting with proposal development and coordination
Participating in project interviews
Requirements
Requirements
Must live in Oklahoma
High attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Licensed civil engineer
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma
5–10 years of related experience
Must have previous experience with ODOT
Strong communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills
Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer
Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
Familiarity with AASHTO's highway and traffic publications
Familiarity with the MUTCD
Experience with OTA and county design projects

Requirements
Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree : A degree in civil engineering. Professional Engineering License : Must hold and maintain an up-to-date Professional Engineering (PE) license. Experience : At least three years of related experience in project management and roadway engineering is required. Technical Expertise : Familiarity with designing roadways and civil engineering projects, Software Proficiency : Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools). Experience with Openroads Dersigner and HY-8. Leadership Skills : Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in large-scale civil projects. Preferred Education & Experience 3 or more years of experience in project management within the transportation sector. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Professional Engineering License : Must hold and maintain an up-to-date Professional Engineering (PE) license.
