The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for Fingerhut and Corporate General & Administrative expenses, salary and headcount planning, and balance sheet planning.
This role will also lead the Corporate allocations process and partner with Accounting and business units to continue to refine the corporate allocations approach.
This is a high-visibility role and will partner with leadership across the organization in varying capacities.

This role is based out of our Eden Prairie, MN head office within our hybrid environment that has team members come into the office 3 days a week.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following :
- Drive actionable insights and accountability for all general & administrative expenses, enabling the Finance team to address risks and identify opportunities for expense optimization.
- Manage the General & Administrative expense forecast process for all Fingerhut and Corporate departments, partnering with the broader Finance team to ensure complete and accurate analysis.
- Own and maintain the salary planning model for Fingerhut and Corporate employees, coordinating with Human Resources and business leaders to ensure turnover, new positions, and other key benefits assumptions are appropriately captured.
- Own the balance sheet forecast model for Fingerhut entities, ensuring complete and accurate financial modeling and alignment of business strategies with expected financial outcomes.
- Review Fingerhut and Corporate General & Administrative expenses, partnering with the broader Finance team to ensure expenses are recorded to the appropriate brands and line items.
- Lead the Corporate allocations process in partnership with Accounting, including quarterly and annual reviews to refine the allocations methodology to better align with any changes within the business units.
- Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals and identify process improvements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other applicable majors
- 5+ years of experience with progressive responsibilities focused on providing financial insights and business unit analysis
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel) demonstrate critical thinking, ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations
- Experience managing people and demonstrated ability to set and achieve challenging goals, both personally and for the team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work and lead collaboratively in a matrix organization
- Innovative self-starter; consistently looking for new ways of doing things and creative approaches to problem-solving
- Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Office products required; Hyperion Essbase experience
- Ability to deliver results by establishing high standards of excellence and demonstrating a clear personal drive to accomplish goals and consistently meet or exceed expectations
- Not intimidated by ambiguity; resourceful and action-oriented
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
