Trauma Acute Care Surgery

Abilene, Texas offers a high quality of life both professionally and personally. BC / BE Trauma Acute Care Surgeon needed to practice at the largest regional medical center within 150-mile radius. Practicing and experienced physicians as well as fellows will be considered. Must be licensed in Texas or eligible.

Rate : $2,688 per day
Sign-on bonus ( $25K )
Relocation & house hunting assistance (up to $20K )
Full-Time is 14 shifts per month
Schedule Commitment : 12 hours of Primary Call and 12 hour of Backup Call

Physicians may cover 7 days consecutively and do not need to remain in-house during their 12 hour back up call coverage

7 days on / 7 days off (starting on Mondays)

CME Allowance - $2,000

Full Benefits Package - health, dental, vision, physician retirement plan

Quality Bonus : $5.00 per hour

Surgeon will respond to ED, round on in-house patients, see consults and perform needed surgeries.
