RegionalContent Coach - MathRole Mission : The RegionalContentCoach- Mathwill work collaboratively withnational and regionalstaff to design and deliver effectiveMathtraining, conduct classroom observations, and analyze data to identify areas of improvement.
The RegionalMathCoach will expand the knowledge, skills and toolkits of all campus leaders to ensureMathclassrooms are optimum to engage all students in the learning.
Location : This is a full-time onsiteposition based in El Paso. Preference will be given to candidates who live in theregion,or who are willing to relocate.
Travel Expectation : 1-2 times per yearfor team stepbacks or meetings.What You’ll Do AccountabilitiesEssential Duties :
- Design and facilitate professional development sessions that support teachers and leaders in implementing evidence-basedMathpractices.
- Collaborate with National Coaches and the Academic Services Team to develop and implement effectiveMathinstruction for students.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers and leaders to ensure fidelity of implementation ofMathinstruction.
- Conduct regular classroom observations to identify areas of strength and growth inMathinstruction.
- Collect and analyzeMathdata to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions.
- Collaborate with campus and regional leadership to develop and implementMathimprovement plans based on data analysis.
- Communicate regularly with regional leaders about student progress and instructional initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and trends inMathinstruction.
What You Bring - CompetenciesExperience :
- Education : Bachelor’sdegree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Valid teaching certification.
- Minimum of3years of classroom teaching experience.
- Experience as aMathcoach,instructional coach, or schools leaderpreferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-basedMathpractices and instructional strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate effective professional development sessions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience working with data to inform instructional decisions.
- Knowledge of currentMathtrends and research.
What We Offer :
Compensation & Benefits : Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between$70,500 and $82,100, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity.
This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.Additionally, we offer medical, dental, and vision plans, disability, life insurance, parenting benefits, flexible spending account options, generous vacation time, referral bonuses, professional development, and a 403(b) plan.
