About The Position
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a SPECIALTY Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA in San Francisco, CA for a 13 - week assignment with the opportunity to extend.
The ideal Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA will have a minimum of 1 year experience. Experienced and new grad Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs are encouraged to apply.
This can be a travel or a local assignment for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA. Responsibilities of a SPECIALTY Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA :
- Implements and executes an established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team
- Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements
- Develops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional association
- Supports and participates in department operations and development
- Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis
- 35 hours guaranteed
- 13 week assignment
- Submit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
