We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting department and work directly alongside our Controller (a licensed CPA). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to contribute to a dynamic and detail-oriented finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings , including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Support day-to-day accounting operations : accounts payable / receivable, general ledger maintenance, and expense tracking.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis .
- Collaborate closely with the Controller on special projects, process improvements, and internal controls .
- Provide support for audit and tax preparation .
- Gain valuable exposure to the accounting needs of related companies and affiliated entities , broadening experience beyond a single organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track a plus).3–5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry).Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills .Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently while being a team player in a collaborative department .Why Join Us
