Job Summary :

Supermicro Computer is looking for experienced Sr. Product Manager Networking to join the Rack solutions team to help introduce and promote Rack solution products to potential customers.

The individual must have deep understanding of networking technologies (including but not limited to InfiniBand, NVLink, UALink, and Ethernet), and the market trend to further promote SMC rack solutions precisely to fit customers' need.

The ideal candidate would need to have the ability to identify potential customers, promote in-house solutions and build solid relationship with customer to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned) :

  • Manage switch and related networking products
  • Develop strategy for successful product deployment based on deep understanding of customer technical requirements
  • To understand and resolve challenges by collaborating with business partner and internal technical members
  • Communicate with customers; technical questions / concerns
  • Create positioning statements, marketing, and sales training materials, product specifications
  • This position will require travel periodically to visit customers or attend trade shows

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in CE / CS / EE or equivalent with minimum of 8+ years’ hands-on experience in data center / server related fields
  • Experience in High Performance Computing network design and high speed interconnect is preferred
  • Familiar with Open stack, Hadoop, VMware, and other system solution is a plus
  • Deep understand of data center market trend and competitors' strength / weakness
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skill is a must, able to communicate effectively with customers to promote, answer questions, and receive feedback

Salary Range

$156,000 - $181,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.

In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
