A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE
Our exciting and entrepreneurial culture will allow you to think creatively, solve problems and meet the needs of our clients daily.
A typical day might include the following :
- May serve a management role on GEC and CEC contracts for TxDOT and other transportation agencies which includes project and program development and support.
- As augmented staff, project managers will work on short- and long-term assignments assessing current client processes to develop improvements and produce results with consideration of client’s needs and goals.
- Uses advanced techniques, theory, precepts and practices in a specialized engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
- Project Managers will interact with Client and other consultants and must have good communication skills.
- Manage and maintain project schedules and financial requirements.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-12 years of experience in transportation - TxDOT procedures highly recommended
- Software programming experience w / data analytic skills preferred
- Business improvement process inclined
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and / or on a daily basis as changes occur in client needs
- Proven experience in handling project management responsibilities including multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal employees
- Program Management experience preferred such as GEC or CEC contracts
BONUS IF YOU HAVE
- Track record of winning TxDOT work
- Track record of County and Municipal wins
- Previous work experience in an AEC related firm
- Experience working in client office for periods of a project.
