Full-Time Associate Attorney

Zaner Harden Law, a plaintiff's personal injury trial law firm with a national reputation, seeks a driven associate attorney.

The opportunity is to work directly under a partner’s mentorship and handle all aspects of litigation from filing suit, taking and defending depositions, and appearing in court for hearings and trials, as well as assist the firm with pre-litigation matters and new client intakes.

Responsibilities :

The cases involve complex personal injury matters (toxic tort, electrocutions, explosions) as well as catastrophic injury auto cases.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Applying attorneys must (1) have a genuine interest in being a great trial lawyer, (2) be a great writer, (3) be willing to work extremely hard to be the best, (4) exhibit uncommon grit for our clients, and (5) actually want to represent injured people against insurance companies.
• Experience in litigation required, and experience in personal injury practice strongly preferred.
• Candidates with excellent credentials that exhibit a strong desire to practice plaintiff's personal injury law will also be considered.

Compensation and Benefits :

• Salary range : $100k-$325k (depending on experience), plus bonus based on performance.
• Full benefits including paid health, dental, and vision for the employee.

• 401K with matching once eligible.
• Vacation : Prorated depending on start date; in succeeding years, you will receive 15 days of time off per year.
• Sick Time : 48 hours per year, accrued one hour for every 30 hours worked.
• Paid Holidays : Pursuant to the firm’s holiday schedule.
