About the project
A successful Highway Engineer will be a key member of the Company Highway / Trafic Group, working closely with Highway Designers and CAD Technicians to develop comprehensive roadway construction plans and related deliverables.

Must have requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in highway design and engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Strong understanding of design standards, codes, and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed roadway design plans and construction drawings.
- Prepare Right-of-Way plans and cross-sections.
- Coordinate utility design and integration.
- Design pavement systems, guiderails, drainage systems, and stormwater management systems.
- Develop E&S (Environmental and Safety) plans.
- Create traffic control and signing and pavement marking plans.
- Design ADA-compliant ramps.
- Prepare and review Highway Occupancy Permit Plans.
- Design highway lighting systems.
