Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Fox River Grove, IL.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students develop effective munication skills and will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.

Key Responsibilities :
Assessment and Evaluation : Conduct prehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs. Analyze evaluation results to develop appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans.
Therapeutic Intervention : Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with munication disorders. Use evidence-based practices to enhance students' speech, language, and munication abilities.
Collaboration : Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
IEP Development : Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with speech and language needs. Ensure that goals and objectives are tailored to each student's unique needs and are consistently reviewed and updated.
Family Engagement : municate with parents and guardians to provide information about their child's progress and strategies for supporting speech and language development at home.
Offer guidance and resources to help families support their child's munication skills.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports. Ensure pliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Professional Development : Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications :
Education : Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Certification : Valid Illinois state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
Experience : Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Experience working with students with a range of speech and language disorders is a plus.
Skills : Strong interpersonal and munication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
Proficiency in using assessment tools and developing individualized therapy plans.
