Role Description

A Project Engineer plays a key role in ensuring that all construction activities align with project goals and comply with contract documents. This position supports the successful execution of projects by collaborating closely with the Project Manager and the broader project team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the bidding process and procurement activities
• Manage and track submittals and RFIs
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and records
• Verify as-built drawings and ensure alignment with project specifications
• Support quality control initiatives and contribute to maintaining high construction standards
• Promote and assist with site safety practices and compliance
• Assist in drafting and estimating
• Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders

Salary Range

$70,000 - $85,000

Work Environment

This job involves working in both an office and a field setting. You should expect to make visits to active job sites, where you may need to navigate uneven terrain, climb scaffolding, ladders, and other structures. When not at the job site, you will be working in our office located in Lorton, VA.
