What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Manage Generation and / or Transmission projects of considerable size, diversity, complexity, and risk
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules to accomplish project objectives
- Ensure effective teamwork, communication, and high work quality standards
- Control project expenditures and ensure timely completion meeting client expectations
- Identify and manage project risks effectively
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- University degree in engineering or relevant professional qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in power-related projects or similar field
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Experience in utilities, renewable energy, and transmission / distribution preferred
- Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with industry-related scheduling systems such as MS Project and Primavera
- Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience in developing project execution plans and budgets
- Effective communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Experience in preparing proposals for clients
