Social Media Community Manager Job at Zero Gravity Marketing in Cambridge
The Social Media Community Manager would be responsible for being the face and voice of a large non-profit client on social.
They facilitate and engage 700K+ community members across their social channels and beyond. They understand digital marketing and apply strategic creativity to meet marketing goals.
Keeping in line with brand persona and tone of voice, this person uses online tools and in-person networking to build relationships and enhance the companys brand, both online and off.
They are mission-driven, passionate about using social media for good, and have their finger on the pulse with trends, best practices, and pop culture.
This role not only requires creating memorable interactions that meet our clients communitys needs, but also identifies potential partnership opportunities, assesses brand risks, and spots potential crises.
Duties and Responsibilities : Use Sprout Social to conduct social listening, track sentiment, and perform community management outreach.
Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content. Discern when to take an issue offline.Manage and maintain tagging structures of community and content within Sprout Social.
Utilize Sprout Social to oversee and track the clients social media pages, maintaining consistent brand representation and tone of voice.
Evaluate how to best scale communities and connect with new constituents. (e.g., clients, partners, and various stakeholders).
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop social plans for marketing campaigns.Identify opportunities for real-time marketing via live chats and trending conversations.
Strategy / Planning : Use data to inform strategic decisions for key stakeholders.Consider future activations to foster meaningful relationships that rally their community members to share the latest updates, resources, and stories.
Work to identify stories for activation days / months in advance.Strategize with the internal team on the social media calendar.
Determine topics to explore based on content strategy and brand priorities.Identify testing opportunities.Education & Experience Requirements : Bachelors degree in social media marketing and communications, or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience working within a Digital Marketing Team.Position Requirements : Excellent written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and wit.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to self-start and work independently.Ability to manage multiple campaign projects without compromising creative quality.
Understanding of testing and performance metrics to enhance social content.Experience with Sprout Social for Business (or similar social listening tools).
Familiarity with Google Suite.Experience implementing branding.Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with a 40-hour per week schedule.
