Description :
Servers are responsible for providing a dining experience that ensures excellence in member / guest service and maximizes sales.
All Servers :
- Station work as needed Greet members / guests and present them with menus. Inform members / guests of specials and menu changes make suggestions and upsell and answer questions regarding food, beverage, and service
- Take food and beverage orders, obtains food items from the kitchen. Ensures orders are correct and complete and meet presentation and quality standards before taking the items to the guest.
- Totals member / guest bill, presents the check, accepts payment and completes the sale transaction.
- Completes all daily side work according to the closing section chart or as deemed necessary by the Food and Beverage Manager.
Completes any additional tasks, set up, and / or tear down as deemed necessary.
- Check all inventory and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the day
- Maintains and oversees all cleanliness of tables, dishes, glassware, equipment, supplies, storage areas, refrigerators, windowsills, carpets, counters, floors and both Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms at all times
- Busses or assists bus person in the clearing of tables, resetting of tables and the stocking of the workstation.
- Follows procedures in the selling and serving of alcoholic beverages, requests identification from members / guests that appear to be under 21 years of age and discontinues alcoholic beverage service to any member / guest that appears to be intoxicated.
- Will serve and maintain patio eating area.
- May carve meats, sauté entrees, open and serve wine tableside.
- Will set and reset rooms for banquet functions, wait on members / guests during the banquets and catered events.
- Will assist in the set up and breakdown of BBQ, buffet or portable bar.
- May wash dishes and glassware.
- May work any other department as deemed necessary by management
