Application Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ.

This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities :

Deliver high quality reporting solutions for programs spanning one or more business domains to support organizational missions

Adhere to enterprise principles and standards based on industry best practices

Work on multiple projects utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies to provide target-state solutions that best fit the business requirements and align to enterprise goals

Create data extracts, databases, complex reporting across large organizational domains in support of the horizontal architecture function

Requirements :

5+ years' experience in developing and working with Tableau driven dashboards, analytics

Able to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook

Advanced Tableau development skills

A solid understanding of SQL Server / Hadoop / Teradata, relational database management system, data modeling

Twisting SQL queries for improving performance

Strong communication skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Desired skills :

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

Process Automation, and Data Analytics

Software design and development experience in modern programming languages

Knowledge in Continuous Integration / Deployment and Container automation

Knowledge and experience with working in an agile SDLC methodology environment

Self-driven, innovative and pushes for high-quality measurable outcomes

Exposure to data extraction / transformation tools e.g. Alteryx
